I was at a meeting a couple of weeks ago, and one of the participants referred to our current reality as "May-cember." Boy did that resonate! If you are like me, you've been running a million miles an hour for weeks (maybe months!), and you absolutely deserve some rest and relaxation. And...the craziness of the world outside makes affordability a necessary element for any self-care. So get ready to take some notes, and then put your laptop to sleep, light a candle, and settle in for an amazing at-home spa day.

Set the Scene: Aromatherapy & Ambience
Choose a Signature Scent
I'm always a fan of lavender and that's probably why I love the Blue Heron Chill Time Candle so much. Other favorites: Capri Blue Volcano, and Prestige Scents Co Sweetie Pie.
Low Cost Extras
A satin scrunchie to pull your hair off your neck and some gold eye patches are perfect final touches for your chillaxed vibe.
The 5-Step Facial Ritual
Cleanse: Using SeneGence 3 in 1 Cleanser (or your favorite product), lightly massage your skin for 60 seconds. Want to really up your game? Try the PMD Beauty sonic cleansing wand.
Steam: Give yourself a DIY facial steam using a bowl of hot water with a drop of peppermint oil. Want to get fancy? I love the Colorfarm Facial Steamer.
Mask: Apply a generous layer of SeneGence Detoxifying Oxygen Facial Mask to your clean face. Helpful hint: Warn your roommates (dogs, significant others, plants) that you're about to have an out-of-body experience when the signature bubbling sensation produced by this holy grail product kicks in.
Tone & Treat (optional): Try a rosewater toner with these resuable makeup pads for a quick pick-me-up.
Moisturize & Protect: SeneGence Microbiome Defense Daytime Moisturizer provides hydration AND protection from the sun - it's a must for taking care of your skin!

Epsom Salt Foot Soak
They say the best place to get a massage or even identify key pressure points is your feet. So I'm ready to say, "Sign me up," the moment anyone mentions a foot soak. Want to know more about why this is such a treat for your feet? The Mayo Clinic has you covered.
Body Butter Finish
You already know that I think SeneGence daytime moisturizer is the best. But their Body Butter is an amazing, well-kept secret. With key ingredients like Ceramide NP, Shea Butter and Nangai Oil, this moisturizer will ensure your whole body glows with hydration.
Hands, Wrists & Sparkle
Mini mani: You may know that I'm a HUGE fan of Olive & June. I love their products, and their nail education is top notch. Check out this short video on how to do a mani for beginners.
Post-Spa Ritual: Sustain the Glow
Make sure you hydrate! Lots of water is so important for your skin health.

FAQ
How often should I do an at-home spa day?
Weekly? Just kidding...I know the lives we are all leading don't lend themselves to taking this amount of time to chill on a weekly basis (although, if you can make it work, you absolutely should!). At minimum, quarterly, and ideally, once a month would be great for your soul.
What ingredients should I avoid in DIY masks?
Can I reuse under-eye patches?
Is SeneGence Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer suitable for sensitive skin?
Does permanent jewelry require maintenance?
