Spring always feels like a shift, and this year, that’s especially true over here at All That Glitters. Things have been evolving in ways that feel aligned, creative, and honestly… more fun.

Custom Lip Gloss Experience (And Why I Created It)

If you've been following along with me here at ATG, you know I'm no stranger to beauty

products. In fact, the business started with me selling high-quality lipstick and soon expanded to include a whole line of clean beauty and skincare. Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved playing with makeup. And that got me thinking about a creative experience for you to play with makeup, with just a little help from me.

Launching April 18, at Gloss, Glow, & Link, All That Glitters is now home to a Custom Lip Gloss Experience: the Gloss Bar! Join us for this fun event, where you'll create your own custom lip gloss - choosing everything from the tube and finish to the color, shimmer, and flavor. I'll guide you through the whole thing, and I promise it will be easy, interactive, and yield a product you'll love.

Where It All Comes Together

While All That Glitters originally got its start with makeup and skincare, the launch of permanent jewelry in January of 2025 really got my creative gears turning. At that point, I thought I was just adding some bling to my existing micro-hustle, but as I shared with Voyage Minnesota in a recent interview, it has evolved into something much bigger.

These days I can't think about a new product without considering what type of experience that will add for all of you. Since September of 2025, we've added the Charm Bar, Signature Scent Bar, boutique ear piercing, and now Gloss Bar. In addition, I'm excited to bring collaborations with other vendors to the Sparkle Studio, beginning with Gloss, Glow, & Link on April 18, featuring Gicell, founder of LaSoph candles.

Where You Can Experience It First

The first place you'll be able to experience the Gloss Bar is at Gloss, Glow, & Link on April 18.

More than a class or a quick pop-in, Gloss, Glow, & Link is a full-on experience. You'll:

create your own gloss
explore a beautiful, spa-inspired candle line from LaSoph
and add permanent jewelry you’ll wear every day

We'll have a complimentary sip, some snacks, and the kind of atmosphere that feels like a night out. Get all the details here.

A New Space

As I shared in my recent Voyage Minnesota feature, things have been evolving behind the scenes, and that includes moving the Sparkle Studio to a new space. This summer, All That Glitters will be moving to the Haven Beauty Collective in Minnetonka. The space is beautiful, and it's in the heart of the community I have served as an educator for over 25 years. My partnership with Haven will allow me to continue the collaborative events that I've held at the North Loop studio (like Galentine's and Gloss, Glow, & Link), and the vibe will be everything you've come to expect from All That Glitters.

What I'm Building Toward

As I’ve been hosting scent workshops and planning new events, I’ve been reminded how much I love creating spaces where people can connect, create, and just enjoy themselves.

This next chapter is about building more of that:

and eventually, a space you can walk into anytime and leave feeling a little more put together than when you arrived
